Filters appear as light grey pills at the top of Liveboards.
When creating a Liveboard, filters can be added in edit mode by selecting "Add Filter" at the top of the page. While in edit mode, clicking on a filter opens the filter settings, where default values can be set, filters can be applied to specific visualisations, filters can be linked, and names can be changed. Linking filters is only necessary when using multiple data sources in a Liveboard and is generally not required.
Outside of edit mode, filter views can be created. A filter view is a saved set of filters that can be accessed with a single click. To create a filter view, apply the relevant filters and select "Save View" (see screenshot below). If a view has already been created, the "Save View" option will appear in the dropdown menu (screenshot below).
These saved filter views can also be used when setting schedules.
